Equality, Diversity and Inclusion for managers - This course has an emphasis on working with staff, partners and customers in an inclusive way. It is suitable for managers, commissioners and aspiring managers.
Neurodiversity At Work Awareness course - This course offers an overview of the neurodiverse profile and practical ideas for the workplace so that you can work at your best.

There are nine characteristics protected under the Equality Act 2010, which are:
- Gender reassignment
- Marriage and civil partnership
- Religion and belief
- Sexual orientation
East Sussex County Council also recognises two additional characteristics, which are rurality and carers.

Intersectionality is the term used to acknowledge that we may have various social identities which may correspond to specific forms of oppression. From an intersectional perspective, aspects of a person’s identity, for example race, class and gender are understood to be enmeshed. The term was coined in 1989 by Kimberlé Crenshaw as a means of discussing the multiple oppressions that some people experience.
