The 5th annual safeguarding conference “Safeguarding in Schools: Best Practice” is now open for bookings on the East Sussex Learning Portal.
This conference is for Executive Headteachers, Headteachers, Deputy Headteachers, Heads of School and Designated Safeguarding Leads in East Sussex schools and academies.
Safeguarding is everybody’s business; the conference will support school leaders in improving safeguarding provision, keeping up to date and ensuring compliance with the latest legislation and frameworks, and providing access to a range of examples of best and innovative practice across a range of challenging agendas.
This conference aims to share best practice in relation to safeguarding provision in schools. A range of speakers and workshops will showcase approaches to improving provision in schools and responding to local and national priorities such as :-
safeguarding children with medical needs
supporting children to manage the risks posed through on-line activity.
